A big attraction for me to Western Canada, is the vast number of wooden grain elevators many of which have been standing for generations. Some are still in use, some are not, while many overtime, have burned or been taken down for various reasons. I find both the exterior and interior architecture fascinating and have come to realize just how important these structures have been and continue to be, to the heart of a town.
